Years ago, when I attended a Methodist church, my favorite part of the service was at the end, during communion, when the pastor would raise her arms and say, “The table is set, won’t you come?”
I have my own invitation for you today, to please **SAVE THE DATE** for the official book release of The Buddha at My Table: How I Found Peace in Betrayal and Divorce.
If you live in Chicago, I hope you’ll join me at:
Women and Children First Bookstore
5233 N. Clark
Chicago, IL 60640
October 26, 2018 @ 7:30 p.m.
And I have an important favor to ask: If you can come, PLEASE WAIT AND BUY THE BOOK AT THE EVENT. If people come in carrying copies under their arms, the bookstore loses out.
I will also be announcing book events in Michigan and Indiana, so the same is true for you folks who can come in person.
However…. if you live elsewhere and we won’t have the pleasure of meeting face-to-face, feel free to PRE-ORDER your copy any time on Amazon.
There will also be a cake and champagne reception following the event especially for Loved Ones (details to come!).
Words can’t express how grateful I am to you for sticking with me on this journey. As I write near the end of the book:
I’m not frightfully small, but humbled. Outside the window of my new apartment, I see a pattern of leaves dancing on the wall of the building across the street. It’s a mesmerizing image, the way it shifts and changes, fades and returns, depending on the angle of the sun. I could watch it for hours. The leaves appear tangible even though there’s nothing there but projection. Is it the shadow that makes it beautiful? Or the light?
I need them both.
I need you as well, and I’m thankful for your support!
